  2. When purchasing a ticket, the participant agrees that they are physically and mentally capable of taking part in the event(s) they have chosen.

  3. The purchase of an entry to an event or an event registration form must be completed by a person aged 18 years or over. Evidence of age may be requested.

  4. The minimum age for taking part in an event will be 18. See the specific event(s) for age restrictions. Where under 18’s are accepted they must have consent from their parent or legal guardian who must purchase the ticket and / or sign the event registration form on behalf of the underage participant. Signing or purchasing a ticket is also an acceptance for the actions and consequences of the underage participant. Under 17’s must be accompanied by an adult at all times and they must be responsible for them and their actions.

  5. The participant will not hold the event venue(s), which include but are not limited to sports fields, schools, parks, farms, woodlands, etc. responsible for any of their actions whilst taking part in a WildDog Events event.

  6. The areas in which the events are held are also open to the general public. By taking part in the event, the participant acknowledges this fact, and will take adequate care and attention when participating. The public may not be aware of the event so it is the participant’s responsibility to make sure they are always in control of both themselves and any equipment they may be using.

  7. Where an event requires the participant to wear protective clothing such as a helmet, it is mandatory that the safety equipment is worn correctly and complies with the latest EN, ANSI, SNELL or UK standards. Any participant not wearing the correct protective clothing will not be allowed to start the event or will be disqualified from the event if they have already started.

  9. By entering an event or signing a consent form the participant confirms that all of their equipment is of a suitable standard and state to take part in the event.

  10.  It is the participant’s responsibility to take the event director's phone number with them whilst taking part in the event. The event director's phone number will be on display at the registration or the start of each event.

  11. If a participant has to retire from an event, it is their responsibility to inform the event director. Not doing so may mean that a search has to be organised. The costs of this will be billed to the participant.

  12.  Courses are marked out in advance of the event and are for guidance only. The course markings may be subject to tampering so it is the participants responsibility to familiarise themselves with the course before the event. If in any doubt with regards to a route choice, we advise the participants call the event director for advice.

  13. WildDog Events reserve the right to shorten or alter the published route(s) at any time. Participants do not have the right to claim a refund if the route is shortened or altered.

  14. Some events will have hazard warning signs at appropriate points along the course. The absence of the warning signs does not mean there are no hazards. The participant is to make their own decision whether to proceed or not. If they choose a different route to avoid obstacles or sections of the course, they do so entirely at their own risk.

  15. Participation in the event and consuming any refreshments provided by WildDog Events is at the individuals own risk. WildDog Events strongly recommends each participant organises their own personal insurance cover.

  16. Participants will be responsible for any fees incurred from an accident or incident caused by their actions. This includes, but is not limited to, fees from Police, Air Ambulance, Fire & Rescue, Mountain Rescue and the Ambulance service.

  17. WildDog Events will have a qualified first aider at every event. If a serious or life threatening situation arises where the first aider is not able to attend and the participant is not capable of making the decision to call for the emergency services, the participant agrees that WildDog Events, other participants, or a member of the public may call the emergency services on their behalf. In this situation, the participant still accepts the costs and consequences of such actions.

  18. When using public roads all participants must obey the Highway Code, local bylaws and laws of England, Scotland, Wales and N. Ireland where applicable and extend all reasonable courtesy to other road users and pedestrians.

  19. Registering for an event indicates consent for WildDog Events to contact the participant with pre-event information and about other relevant events or products / services. The participant can opt out of this after the event by emailing WildDog Events.

  20. By entering an event the participant grants WildDog Events permission to use photographs, videos or sound recordings of the participant obtained at the event in their social media, website and marketing. The participant specifically waives any right to any compensation for appearing in any of the photographs, video or sound recordings. If the participant objects to the use of their photographs, video or sound recordings it is the participants’ responsibility to email WildDog Events prior to the event informing the organisers of their decision.

  21. WildDog Events reserves the right to cancel any event due to circumstances outside of their control such as, but not limited to, extreme weather, environmental conditions, Government restrictions or Force Majeure. In these circumstances WildDog Events will transfer the entries to the rescheduled date. If the participant prefers not to be transferred WildDog Events will issue a refund less the booking agent’s fee and a 5% admin fee. All refunds will be at WildDog Events discretion.
