Uppingham Trail Run

Sunday 26 March 2023

Join us on this stunning multi-terrain trail run through the beautiful county of Rutland. This 9 mile trail run starts and finishes at the picturesque Uppingham Cricket Club and has a mixture of open fields and woodlands. The course sticks to public footpaths and bridleways and has some fun downhills and conversation stopper uphills. The reward though is the spectacular views across the Welland Valley and the Eyebrook reservoir, which was used as a practice site in May 1943 for the Dambuster raids in the second world war.

Registration will open at 8:30am, where runners will collect their race number, which must be worn on the outside front of your running top. The numbers are needed for the electronic timing, if numbers are not visible we cannot guarantee a finishing time. The first waive of runners will set off at 9am with all runners starting in waives with the maximum group size being 12. This is to avoid congestion at the gates and styles.
The course will be well sign-posted and will have a water station at the 5 mile point and at the finish line. All runners will receive a WildDog finishers medal.

Parking, toilets and changing facilities will be available at Uppingham Cricket Club. Any bags left in the changing rooms are at the owners risk. Please note there will be no marshals on the course and no dogs are allowed because of livestock in some of the fields.
