One Night Wild Camping Experience

Always wanted to try wild camping but don't know where to start? 

​

Our experienced guides can help you overcome your fear and answer those typical questions like what kit to pack, how to pack your rucksack, how to pitch your tent to what food to pack ensure you have an enjoyable experience. 

​

We will meet at the WildDogs HQ in Gretton, Northamptonshire on Saturday afternoon at 4pm for an intro and welcome. Here we will go through your kit from the kit list (emailed to you when you register), and teach you how to pack your rucksack. 

​

When you're happy with your rucksack we will set out for a 1-2 hour hike to find a suitable camp site for the night. We will help you pitch your tent (we have spare tents if you need to borrow one) and get your sleeping pod ready before the sunsets. It will then be time for you to get your food on and to sit  back and enjoy the evening. If we're lucky we could see some deer, owls, bats, satellites and even a shooting star or two.

The next morning we will wake naturally with the sound of the wild, cook our breakfast and break down our camp making sure we leave no trace of our overnight stay. We will then hike back to the WildDogs HQ have another brew before saying our goodbyes and looking forward to our next adventure  together.
