Do you want to gain more confidence in your map reading skills so you can have more adventures in the wild without the fear of getting lost!?
If so, this day is perfect for you!
With a mix of classroom and outdoor sessions, you will go home with new skills thoroughly tried and tested out in the countryside.
This one day course will cover the following:

Pacing & timings
Staying safe (kit, safety practices)

Outside (approx 5 hrs)
Putting classroom-based knowledge into practice in the beautiful surrounding countryside
Location and equipment
We will host the classroom at WildDogs HQ (in Gretton, Northamptonshire) and then take you out around the area as there are many features we can use in the training. We won't be going into the mountains at this stage so low-level hiking gear will be needed (walking boots, waterproofs, small day pack, water, packed lunch, flask and snacks).
A compass (Silva Expedition 4) will be needed by each participant.
We will limit participant numbers to a maximum of 8 participants (with 2 instructors) and can offer the following price breaks:
1:1 = £150pp
1:2 = £80pp
1:3 = £60pp
1:4 = £50pp
