Lake District Photographic Expedition

Friday 10 - Sunday 12 September 2021

You will be taken on gentle hikes to reach unspoilt vista’s and be guided on how to capture the best composition. This trip is designed for beginners and more intermediate level photographers who want to refresh and embed their knowledge.

Our award winning photographer, Pete Mason, will be hands on and coach you throughout the trip to ensure you gain maximum benefit from his knowledge and expertise, enhancing your photography skills which will then stay with you long after the trip has ended.

This is not all just about the photography though – we also have a mountain guide as part of our team who will lead you through some of the most stunning mountain trails to make the most of our time in this beautiful part of the country.

With a mixture of landscape and architectural composition opportunities at 3 locations, Pete will talk you through angles, lighting and key techniques. The Lake District provides the opportunity of capturing spectacular mountain scenery no matter what the weather – sometimes those stormy clouds make great atmospheric scenes.

We guarantee you will go home with a deeper knowledge and understanding of composition and technique and be even more appreciative of the wonders of the Lake District – and enjoyed some hiking and fresh air to boot!

Equipment needed:

To gain the maximum benefit from this trip, a DSLR camera with manual control settings is preferred though not essential.

A lightweight tripod is advised.

Hiking boots, clothing to suite the weather conditions and a reasonable level of fitness is required.
