Saturday 24 July 2021

Starting at Bradwell in the Peak District, this 170 km (105 mile) cycling challenge with 2365m (7000ft) of climbing will deliver some fantastic scenery as you cycle your way through the heart of the Peak District. The goal is to finish before the rising full moon at the iconic Café Ventoux, Leicestershire. Transportation is available for you and your bike from Café Ventoux to the start line on the morning of the 24th, departing at 10am.
Starting at 1pm you will be set off in groups of six to take on this picturesque ride through the centre of the Peak District. The highest climb comes after just 13km, which is Mam Tor at 455m, so make sure you have your cameras at the ready for the pictures that are going to earn you loads of kudos. Admire the fantastic scenery the Peak District has to offer before refueling at the first of two feed stations, at approximately 55km (35 miles) and 110km (70 miles).
On arrival at Café Ventoux, reward yourself with some delicious food and drinks and celebrate your achievements with your family, friends and fellow cyclists.

Please note, the route will not be marshaled and road markings will be very limited. We will provide a route map listing key points you should pass through to help you stay on track but we highly recommend all cyclists download the route onto a GPS system. A sweeper van will be on hand to collect any cyclists who experience any mechanical problems or to pick up any cyclist who will not reach the finish line before the 9pm cut off time.
